Apr 27, Kathmandu- The death toll from an explosion at the Shahid Rezai port in the southern Iranian city of Bandar Abbas has risen to at least 28 and 800 others have been injured.

According to media reports, the Iranian authorities have declared three days of mourning following the massive blast. The blast took place on Saturday morning.

The blast was so powerful that windows in nearby offices were shattered.

The massive fire that broke out as a result of the blast has now been brought under control.
