Apr 28, Kathmandu- Nepali Congress General Secretary Gagan Kumar Thapa has said that discontent should not be traded. Addressing a program organized in Kathmandu on Monday, Thapa warned against trading discontent and not taking actions that lead to incitement.
General Secretary Thapa said that while the common citizens are satisfied with the political achievements, there is currently a great restlessness and dissatisfaction. Thapa mentioned that the main reason for the dissatisfaction and restlessness is the lack of change in the condition of the common citizens behind the political situation.
Stating that it is necessary to remove discontent and restlessness, Thapa mentioned that the main issue of the government formed by the Nepali Congress and the CPN-UML is also to remove discontent and restlessness. Thapa also expressed confidence that the government will move forward by solving the problems and crises seen in the economy.
General Secretary Thapa clarified that he will move forward in accordance with the cooperation with the CPN-UML and will not engage in political instability anywhere in the union or the province. He said that it is necessary to work in a way that produces results, not just to stay in the government.
