According to scientists, oligopolins D, E and F were found in the mushroom, of which ‘Oligopolin D’ was found to be the most bitter substance.

According to research published in the American Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, ‘Oligopolin D’ is so bitter that even if just one gram of its powder is dissolved in 16,000 liters of water, the water will be bitter.
