Apr 29, Kathmandu- Twelve people have died after a car fell into a well in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. The accident occurred in the Mandsaur region of Madhya Pradesh. The victims were on their way to a temple when the accident occurred. The car first collided with a motorcycle. The driver then lost control and fell into a nearby well. The biker died instantly.

A person who jumped into the well to save the passengers in the car also died, it is said. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his condolences to those who lost their lives in the accident and announced a financial compensation of 2 lakh Indian rupees (about 2,343 US dollars) to the families of each of the deceased.
