Apr 29, Kathmandu- A 23-member Nepal Weightlifting Association, Ad Hoc Committee has been formed under the coordination of Kanan Chaudhary. The committee will have to hold a general meeting and elections within 3 months with the approval of the National Sports Council.

The NSC board meeting held on Chaitra 29 had decided to dissolve the old working committee and form an ad hoc committee. On Monday, Chandra Kumar Rai, head of the NSC's organization coordination branch, handed over the letter forming the ad hoc committee.

The members of the committee are Surendra Hamal, Partha Sarathi Sen Gupta Tilak Raut, Bijendra Bikram Shah, Jagadish Pradhan, Ashok Shahi, Bipendra Maharjan, Rudra Neupane, Pradeep Shrestha, Rameshwor Shrestha, Anil Mishra, Nita Thapa, Anju Ranabhat, Manoj Koirala, Sajina Pathak, Baikuntha Srivastava, Rajan Badgami, Kamal Bhandari, Ganesh Chand, Ishwar Shrestha, Kamal Lama, and Uddhav Khadka.
