Kidney Patient Jumps From Third Floor of Seti Provincial Hospital, Dies On The Spot

Apr 29, Kathmandu- A kidney patient undergoing treatment at Seti Provincial Hospital has jumped from the third floor. He died on the spot.

Chakra Bahadur Singh, 63, of Godavari Municipality-1, Kailali, who was undergoing dialysis at the provincial hospital, jumped from the third floor of the hospital building on Tuesday afternoon.

Provincial Hospital Information Officer Kishor Shrestha said that Singh, who was admitted to the medical ward on Monday, suddenly jumped from the third floor after 2 pm.

He was brought to the hospital's emergency room for treatment from the spot where he jumped, where doctors declared him dead.

Kidney patient Singh was undergoing dialysis at the provincial hospital. On Monday, Singh, who had come for dialysis, was admitted to the medical ward by the doctors. Singh's wife, Ishwari Devi, was sitting next to him. The hospital said that Singh, who had come out to go out for a while, suddenly jumped from the third floor.
