May 01, Kathmandu- The 7th Martyrs Memorial Local Level National Women's Gold Cup Football Tournament, organized by the Makawanpur District Football Association, is scheduled to be held from Baisakh 19.
It has been informed in a press conference that 8 teams, including three departmental teams, will participate in the competition, which will be held with the financial support of Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City, Bagmati Province Sports Development Council, Bhimphedi Rural Municipality and Kailash Rural Municipality.
The winner will receive 500,000 and the runner-up 300,000 in cash, while the best player will be awarded a scooter by Bagmati Province Assembly member Indra Bahadur Baniya.
Similarly, the organizers estimate that it will cost 61 lakh to run the competition. Of which, Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City has provided 25 lakh, Bagmati Province Sports Development Council 15 lakh, Bhimphedi Rural Municipality and Kailash Rural Municipality have provided 300,000 each.
