May 02, Kathmandu- Nepal Electricity Authority is set to release a white paper today. Executive Director Hitendra Dev Shakya will release the white paper at 2 pm. Earlier, the white paper was scheduled to be released on the 16th but was postponed.

The white paper states that the authority is in accumulated losses and has a large amount of outstanding dues to pay. The previous executive director, Kulman Ghising, had been showing the authority as profitable and saying that it was strong.

Critics are alleging that the loss calculation was forced to show Ghising's tenure as a failure.
