Foreign Minister Dr. Rana urges NRN to move forward unitedly

May 03, Kathmandu- Foreign Minister Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba has urged non-resident Nepalis to move forward unitedly.

Addressing the unity general convention organized by the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) High-Level Committee today, she urged them to move forward unitedly without engaging in politics within the organization. She expressed her commitment to work together actively to fulfill the objectives of the NRNA and expressed her commitment to provide necessary facilitation to that end. She mentioned that there has been a dispute in the NRNA recently and that she deserves thanks for all those who played a role in making the unity general convention being held as per the order of the Supreme Court to resolve the dispute a success.

She reiterated that there is no alternative to putting aside the differences within the association and coming together to fulfill the objectives of the NRNA with unity. Stating that she understands the feelings shown towards Nepal by Foreign Minister Dr. Rana while abroad, she said that the role he has played in spreading Nepali culture, food and identity in the world is commendable. She mentioned that although Nepal has resources, the lack of technology, new managerial skills and capital that are being developed in the world can be filled by NRNs. Urging NRNs to increase investment in Nepal, Minister Rana said that it is necessary to cooperate on the path of economic reform. Stating that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has also formed a unit to look after the Nepali diaspora, she said that she is committed to providing facilitation and service facilities through it.
