May 04, Kathmandu- Another petition has been filed in the Supreme Court on behalf of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) President Rabi Lamichhane to correct his petition. On Baisakh 07, Lamichhane's wife Nikita Poudel filed a habeas corpus petition on his behalf, alleging that Lamichhane was being illegally detained.

The writ petition filed on behalf of Rabi had made the Secretariat of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers a respondent. Hearing the petition, a bench of Justice Abdul Aziz Musalman had issued a show cause order on April 20.

But after the secretariat refused to accept the deadline, on Baisakh 17, Lamichhane filed a petition to convert the secretariat into the office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, said Lamichhane's legal practitioner Dr. Narayan Kandel.

The petition is being heard on Sunday in a bench of Justices Kumar Regmi and Abdul Aziz Musalman.
