Israeli Army Begins Calling Up Reserve Troops To Step Up Gaza Offensive

May 05, Kathmandu- The Israeli military has begun calling up thousands of reserve soldiers to intensify and expand its operation in Gaza.

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) said it was increasing pressure in Gaza with the aim of freeing hostages and defeating Hamas. The military said the plan would involve operating in new areas and destroying all infrastructure above and below ground.

The Israeli Defense Ministry has approved a new military expansion in Gaza, according to Israeli media reports. However, according to several reports, the expansion will be implemented after US President Donald Trump’s visit next week.

The ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas has failed. The 59 hostages in Gaza have not yet been released. Of these, only 24 people are said to be alive.
