Subcommittee Given 10 More Days To Prepare Report On Education Bill

May 05, Kathmandu- The subcommittee formed under the Education, Health and Information Technology Committee of the House of Representatives has been given an additional 10 days.

The meeting of the Education, Health and Information Technology Committee held at Singha Durbar today gave the subcommittee an additional 10 days to reach a conclusion on the School Education Bill 2080 and submit its report.

Earlier, the sub-committee was given a time of 35 days. During the time, the subcommittee has completed the clause-wise discussion of the bill.

The subcommittee had sought 10 days to write a report with the conclusions of the discussion on the bill. Accordingly, the subcommittee has been given time.

The subcommittee will prepare the report within the next 10 days and bring it to the committee. After discussing it in the committee, it should be submitted to the parliament before Asadha 14. Because the government has agreed with the Nepal Teachers Federation to pass the School Education Bill on Asadha 14.
