May 05, Kathmandu- The Nepal Recollectors and Recyclers Association has submitted a memorandum to the Minister for Federal Affairs and General Administration, Rajkumar Gupta.

The society submitted a memorandum to Minister Gupta on Monday, saying that Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balendra Shah 'Balen' has not allowed them to trade and earn a living.

They have appealed to the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration for the protection of their lives and property, alleging that the Kathmandu Metropolitan City has been beating and treating street vendors in a hooligan style for the past 18 months.
