May 05, Kathmandu- Another person has been arrested for arson and vandalism in the Tinkune area of Kathmandu on Chaitra 15.
A team from the District Police Range, Kathmandu, has arrested 72-year-old Khemraj Sedhai, a resident of Likhu Rural Municipality-3 in Nuwakot and currently residing in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-7.
Police have informed that some more people are absconding and they are also being searched. More than 85 people, including senior vice-president of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party Rabindra Mishra and commander of the protest Durga Prasain, are in custody on charges of involvement in the Tinkune incident. The police are investigating them while keeping them in custody.
25 people are being investigated for cases including crimes against the state and the rest for criminal nuisance.
