May 06, Kathmandu- Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi arrived in Pakistan on Monday. He is also scheduled to visit India this week.

Araghchi's visit to India was already scheduled, but he has now reached Pakistan before travelling to India.

Amid the heightened tensions between India and Pakistan following the Pahalgam attack, Araghchi has already offered to mediate between the two countries.

Araghchi had called India and Pakistan his "brotherly neighbors." Abbas Araghchi will return to Tehran after his visit to Pakistan and from there he will come to India on May 7-8.
