May 06, Kathmandu- The Immigration Office of Japan has expelled 2 Nepali people. Two Nepalese with the surnames Panta and Thapa were deported this week on charges of violating Japanese immigration laws.
According to sources, Panta and Thapa were returned to Nepal by Thai Airlines and Thai Lion Airlines, respectively. The Japanese police arrested them on charges of violating immigration laws and deported them to Nepal after questioning. However, the law they violated has not been disclosed. The sources said that they arrived in Kathmandu this week.
Recently, Japan has also started cracking down on illegal immigrants. Nepalese have also started getting affected by the crackdown on immigrants who have arrived in Japan on various visas.
In recent times, governments in countries including Japan, the US, Malaysia, Canada, France, the Maldives, Germany, and South Korea have been increasing surveillance of foreign workers there.
