May 06, Kathmandu- The issue of the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority taking the statement of former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has been raised.
Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) MP Manish Jha has questioned whether this is being done on the basis of political vendetta.
"We would like to state that the party has drawn attention to some recent incidents of political retaliation and that we are concerned," MP Jha said in the House of Representatives on Tuesday, taking an emergency time.
"It happened to our party president, recently it happened to Resham Chaudhary, we are hearing that Madhav Kumar Nepal's statement is also being taken. Will there be an attack on CK Raut now?" MP Jha said.
Jha, a Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) MP, said that his party is viewing all these issues as a series of political retaliation.
He also warned that it may not be possible to remain silent about political retaliation forever. “We are viewing all these issues as a series of political retaliation and are taking them seriously, and we want to inform you that it may not be possible to remain silent forever,” he said.
