May 08, Kathmandu- The Nepal Samajwadi Party (NSP) has supported the counter-attack launched by India in Pakistan-administered Kashmir under ‘Operation Sindoor’. On Baisakh 1, 27 people, including a Nepali, lost their lives in a terrorist attack in the tourist destination of Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir.
In response, India carried out airstrikes on nine terror camps in Pakistan on Wednesday night. As of Wednesday, 26 people have been killed and 46 injured in the airstrike, Pakistan said. "The Nepal Samajwadi Party supports the attacks on terrorists launched by India under Operation Sindoor on nine terror camps in Pakistan," the statement said.
"As Nepali citizen Sudip Neupane was also killed in a terrorist attack on 2082-0109, the action taken by India to destroy the safe haven of Pakistani terrorists as part of its counter-terrorism operations is commendable, protecting humanity and eradicating terrorism," the statement issued on Wednesday said.
