May 08, Kathmandu- The police have arrested a person who was traveling to India carrying an Oketoke handset. The arrested person has been identified as 35-year-old Jabir Hussain Miyan of Inaruwa Municipality-8, Sunsari.

The police arrested him while he was heading towards India from Koshi Rural Municipality-1 Bhansar Road in Sunsari.

SP Suman Kumar Timsina, Chief of the District Police Office, Sunsari, said that they recovered an Oketoke handset and a motorcycle bearing the registration number Province 1-02-047 Pa 1549 from Miya.

DSP Yograj Khatiwada said that an identity card with the name of police constable Fida Hussain and a voter identity card with the name Mohammad Sahamad Miya were also recovered from him.

He said that the arrested Mia has been taken into custody at the District Police Office, Sunsari, and further investigation is underway.
