Foreign Ministry Statement On Contact With Nepali Students In Pakistan

May 09, Kathmandu- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has stated that it is in touch with Nepali students in Pakistan who are in trouble due to the tension between India and Pakistan. On Friday, RSP MP Sumana Shrestha had said that Nepali students in Pakistan have sent a letter for rescue. RSP MP Shishir Khanal had also raised the issue in the House of Representatives meeting on Friday.

Subsequently, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement on Friday afternoon stating that it is in touch with Nepali students and that the Nepali Embassy in Pakistan is active for necessary assistance. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has also provided the contact numbers of embassy staff for assistance and coordination.
