May 10, Kathmandu- Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Indira Ranamagar, left for Bangladesh on Saturday morning for a 6-day visit.
Deputy Speaker Rana has left for Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, to participate in a conference of women journalists to be held in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh.
Deputy Speaker Rana will be the keynote speaker in the program organized by Initiatives of Media Women Nepal in collaboration with the Nepali Embassy in Bangladesh and the Joint Council on Baisakh 28.
She is scheduled to address the event by focusing on recent common problems and challenges in the media sector, social and cultural perspectives, and the decisive role of women in responsible journalism across South Asia.
Deputy Speaker Rana is scheduled to return home on Jestha 1.
