May 10, Kathmandu- India has claimed that five senior terrorists have been killed in a military operation in Pakistan. Indian media outlets have released the identities of the five people who were allegedly killed in the operation in Pakistan.
Among those killed is Mudassar Khaidan, alias Abu Jundal, the in-charge of the Markaz Taiba in the Muridke area of the Lashkar-e-Taiba organization. According to the Hindustan Times, representatives of the Pakistani army also attended his funeral.
Similarly, Hafiz Muhammad Jamil has also been killed in the Indian operation. It is claimed that he is affiliated with Jaish-e-Mohammed. The Hindustan Times has mentioned that he is the in-charge of Markaz Subhan Allah in Bhawalpur. He is also the brother-in-law of Jaish-e-Mohammed founder Maulana Masood Azhar.
Masood Azhar's brother-in-law has also been killed in the Indian operation. Masood Azhar's brother-in-law Ustad Ji, Mohammad Yusuf Azhar, has also been killed in the Indian operation. He was also affiliated with Jaish-e-Mohammed.
He was on the wanted list in the Indian Airlines hijacking case from Kathmandu to Delhi in December 1999. He was given the responsibility of providing weapons training to Jaish-e-Mohammed.
Similarly, the Hindustan Times mentioned that a terrorist named Khalid alias Abu Aksha, affiliated with Lashkar-e-Taiba, was also killed during the operation. He was involved in smuggling weapons to Afghanistan.
It is said that Pakistani army officers and the city's deputy commissioner were also present at his funeral held in Faisalabad city.
Jaish-e-Mohammed's Mohammad Hassan Khan was also killed in the operation. He is said to be the son of Mufti Asghar Khan Kashmiri, the commander of Jaish-e-Mohammed in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. He had been playing an important role in terrorist attacks in Jammu and Kashmir.
