May 11, Kathmandu- Khotang police have arrested a wife on charges of murdering her husband.

Renuka Rai, the wife of 51-year-old Panchkarn Rai, has been arrested on charges of murdering her husband.

Renuka, 53, of Upper Chichinga, Halesi Tuwachung Municipality-9, was arrested by the police on Saturday.

During a domestic dispute, Renuka had seriously injured Panchkarn when she threw a spade at him. Police deployed from Arkhaile Police Station immediately arrested him. Panchkarn, who was seriously injured, died during further treatment at Annapurna Neuro Hospital, Kathmandu.
