May 11, Kathmandu- Many locals in the border areas of Jammu have reported seeing drones flying in their area.
People who called from villages near the international border with Pakistan said that they heard light gunfire around their homes even after the ceasefire.
Some residents of Rajouri have also reported seeing drones near the Line of Control.
“These drones continued to fly in the sky for a long time. However, these activities stopped after a few hours,” says one person.
The Indian government held a late-night press conference in which it said there were some incidents of drones and light gunfire from Pakistan. However, the situation calmed down after this.
Locals said on Sunday morning that they had spent the night peacefully. There were no reports of any loss of life or property after the shelling near the border.
Currently, the situation in Jammu and surrounding areas is normal and people are returning to their daily lives.
