May 11, Kathmandu- The driver died on the spot after a tipper accident on the Helambu Highway in Mandandeupur Municipality-7.

According to the District Police Office, this morning, while carrying sand from the Indrawati River towards Panchkhal, the tipper (Ba4Kha 3363) overturned on an uphill slope and went out of control, causing the driver, 47-year-old Lavakush Adhikari of Suryagadhi Rural Municipality-7, Nuwakot, to fall about 100 meters down.

On April 31, while the tipper (Ba2Kha 3464) was reversing to unload sand inside the compound of a hotel under construction in Thakurigaun, Mandandeupur-2, the driver, 31-year-old Binod Ghorasaini, was crushed to death after falling seven meters down a hill.
