May 11, Kathmandu- The ‘UnionPay Nepal Fintech Festival-2025’ has concluded. It was organized in collaboration with Kathmandu Fintech and Fintech Alliance Nepal with the aim of developing international-level Fintech in Nepal.

The program was attended by about four hundred representatives from Nepal and international financial institutions, technology companies, regulatory bodies, and fintech leadership. The main objective of the program was to establish Nepal on the global fintech map. Yes. Nepal has become the second country in South Asia, after India, to organize a national fintech program.

Nileshman Singh Pradhan, Chief Executive Officer of Nepal Clearing House Limited (NCHL), Pradyumna Pokharel, CEO of Muktinath Bikas Bank, and Surendra Raj Regmi, Vice President of Nepal Bankers Association, delivered speeches at the event.
