May 12, Kathmandu- Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has arrived in Lumbini today. He has come here to participate in the 2569th Buddha Jayanti program.

Lumbini Province Chief Minister Chet Narayan Acharya welcomed Prime Minister Oli. Buddha Jayanti is celebrated every year on the full moon day of Baisakh.

Prime Minister Oli, Lumbini Development Fund Chairman and Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Badri Pandey, along with federal government ministers, Lumbini Province Chief Ministers, members of the Provincial Council of Ministers, heads and representatives of diplomatic missions will participate in the program organized by the Lumbini Development Fund on the occasion of Buddha Jayanti and Lumbini Day.
