May 13, Kathmandu- The House of Representatives has set a time for the pre-budget discussion. There will be four days of discussion today, tomorrow, Jestha 1 and Jestha 2. The time has been set to discuss for 18 hours over the four days. On the first day, there will be 4 hours today, 5 hours tomorrow, 4 hours on Jestha 1 and 5 hours on Jestha 2.
There will be a total of 18 hours of discussion. Nepali Congress and CPN-UML have been given 5 hours each.
The Maoist Center has got 2 hours, the National Independent Party (RSP) has got 82 minutes, and the National Democratic Party (RPP) has got 50 minutes.
The Unified Socialist Party has got 40 minutes, the Janata Samajwadi Party has got 28 minutes, the Janmat Party has got 24 minutes, the Janata Samajwadi Nepal has got 20 minutes, the Democratic Socialist Party Nepal has got 16 minutes, and the Nagarik Unmukti Party has got 16 minutes.
Nepal Workers and Peasants Party got 5 minutes, Rastriya Janamorcha got 5 minutes, Aam Janata Party got 5 minutes and two independent MPs got 5 minutes each.
Currently, the number of parties supporting the government is 7. The total time allotted to these parties is 760 minutes. This is a little more than 12 hours.
The total time allotted is 1083 minutes. The remaining 323 minutes are given to the opposition parties. Which is a little less than 6 hours.
