May 13, Kathmandu- Independent MP Amresh Kumar Singh has said that there is a shortage of space at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu.

Speaking at a meeting of the House of Representatives on Tuesday, he said that there is a situation where people are confused about where to go when checking in.

MP Singh urged not to disrespect the international airport even though it is operating.

He said, "The Tribhuvan International Airport is in utter chaos. There is a shortage of space. People are confused about where to go at the check-in area. People have to wait for hours to collect their luggage. Sometimes the locks on the luggage are broken. Let's not insult even a functioning international airport."
