World Cup Journey Ends After Nepal Lost To Hong Kong

May 13, Kathmandu- Nepal lost to Hong Kong by seven wickets in the ICC Women's T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier. With this, Nepal was able to pass the next stage of the World Cup qualifiers.

Hong Kong, on the other hand, made it to the top three. Chasing the target of 30 runs set by Nepal on Tuesday, Hong Kong achieved it in 4.3 overs, losing three wickets.

Earlier, in the match reduced to 5 overs due to rain, Nepal scored 29 runs for the loss of three wickets. For Nepal, Samjhana Khadka scored 10 runs, captain Indu Verma scored 9 runs and Rubina Chhetri scored four runs.

Kary Chan, Alison Siu and Iqrar Shah took one wicket each in the bowling for Hong Kong.
