May 15, Kathmandu- The Dallas Mavericks defied the odds to win the 2025 NBA Draft Lottery on Monday, securing the No. 1 pick with just a 1.8% chance.

They are now expected to select Duke star Cooper Flagg, the consensus top prospect. The San Antonio Spurs, Philadelphia 76ers, and Charlotte Hornets rounded out the top four picks, with the Spurs and Sixers making significant jumps from lower positions.

Flagg and other top prospects, including Dylan Harper, Derik Queen, and Walter Clayton Jr., are in Chicago this week for the NBA Draft Combine and related events.
