May 15, Kathmandu- The Tribhuvan University Executive Committee made a decision on Ashwin 27, 2080. The decision stated, 'The examination results will be published within 100 days.'
However, it has been found that the decision has not been implemented. It has been found that it took at least 204 days and a maximum of 400 days to get the results of the examinations held in various months of 2079 BS and 2080 BS. The 62nd report of the Auditor General has raised questions about Tribhuvan University for not publishing the results on time.
As mentioned in the report, the BBS fourth year examination was held on 26 Chaitra 2079 BS. It has been found that the results of the examination were published after 204 days, on 20 Kartik 2080 BS.
The BA first year examination was concluded on 21st Baisakh 2017 and the results were published only after 357 days on 13th Baisakh 2017.
Similarly, the B.Ed first year examination was concluded on 13th Baisakh 2017. The results were made public only after 389 days on 8th Baisakh 2017.
The BBA first year examination was concluded on 16th Baisakh 2080. The report mentions that its results were made public after 400 days on 21st Jestha 2081.
Although the B.Ed third year examination was concluded on 6th Shrawan 2080, the results were made public after 350 days on 26th Jestha 2081.
Similarly, the BBS third year examination was concluded on 4th Shrawan 2080. Its results were published after 346 days on 20th Ashadha 2081.
Although the B.Ed second year examination was concluded on 6th Bhada 2080, the results were published only after 314 days on 20th Ashadha 2081.
The Auditor General's report mentions that the examination results should be published on the specified time as the delay in publishing the results affects the students' participation in the academic session and employment opportunities.
