Two Trucks Stolen From Makawanpur A Few Days Ago Found In Chitwan

May 17, Kathmandu- Two cargo trucks stolen from Makawanpur a few days ago have been found in Chitwan. On Saturday, the police identified the trucks and handed them over to the respective owners.

According to the District Police Office, Makawanpur, a truck bearing the registration number Na 3 Kha 7320, operated by 41-year-old Ishwor Balami, a resident of Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City-12, was stolen from a garage in Ward No. 11, Nawalpur, of the same sub-metropolitan city on Baisakh 30.

Similarly, a complaint was filed with the police that a truck bearing the number Me 1 Kha 1457 belonging to 46-year-old Hari Bahadur Dangol, a resident of Hetauda-3, was stolen from in front of his house on Jestha 1.

Based on the complaint received, the police found both trucks on the side of the East-West Highway in Khairhani Municipality-9, Chitwan, while conducting a search, the police said.

The seized trucks were brought to the District Police Office, Makawanpur and handed over to the owners concerned today.

The District Police Office, Makawanpur, has stated that a team has been mobilized to identify and arrest those involved in the theft and the search operation is ongoing.
