May 18, Kathmandu- A fatal bomb explosion outside the American Reproductive Centers (ARC) near downtown Palm Springs killed one person and injured four others, prompting the FBI to label it an "intentional act" as they investigate whether it was domestic or international in nature.

The blast, which damaged several buildings, occurred just before 11:00 local time in a parking lot near the fertility clinic. No ARC staff or patients were harmed, and the clinic confirmed that all medical facilities and stored embryos remained secure. A nearby witness described the aftermath as chaotic, with parts of a car on fire and an iPhone seemingly set to record the explosion. Authorities have identified a person of interest but are not actively searching for a suspect. The cause of the blast is still under investigation.
