May 18, Kathmandu-A Mexican Navy training ship, the Cuauhtémoc, was damaged after its masts struck New York City's Brooklyn Bridge during a festive visit on Saturday evening.

Footage shows the ship's tall masts clipping the bridge, with parts reportedly falling onto the deck and causing injuries. Crowds at the scene fled as the collision occurred. New York City Emergency Management and the Fire Department confirmed they were responding, though the number of injured remains unclear. The Mexican Navy said the incident is under investigation.
