May 19, Kathmandu- A vehicle carrying four Koshi Province MPs has met with an accident in Morang. A vehicle carrying four Koshi Provincial Assembly members met with an accident in Kanepokhari, Morang, on Monday. Initial investigations have revealed that the accident occurred when the vehicle, which was travelling from Jhapa to Biratnagar, collided with a car coming from the opposite direction.

Provincial Assembly members Nambarlal Dhimal, Radhakrishna Khanal, Maiya Shrestha and Bidya Chamling were in the vehicle that was involved in the accident. The vehicle (BAE 1406) in which the MP was travelling was hit by a red car (BA 5 Cha 3520). Police say there were no casualties in the accident.

MP Maiya Shrestha is a Nepali Congress MP. Radhakrishna Khanal is a UML MP, while Nambarlal Dhimal is a proportional MP from Jhapa's UML. Vidya Chamling is a proportional MP from the CPN-US.
