Over 25 Million Condoms Imported In 10 Months

May 22, Kathmandu- Nepal has imported over 25.37 million male condoms during the first ten months of the current fiscal year. According to the Customs Department, a total of 25,371,534 male condoms were brought into the country in this period.

The imported condoms are valued at approximately 182.99 million Nepalese rupees. The Customs Department also reported that the government has generated around 7,000 rupees in revenue from these imports over the ten-month span.

The significant volume of condom imports highlights ongoing efforts to promote reproductive health and family planning initiatives across Nepal.
