May 23, Kathmandu- Both Nepal's men's and women's football teams are currently preparing for the AFC Asian Cup qualifiers. Both teams will play in the final round of qualifiers for the Asian Cup.

The men's team has already started their final round of Asian Cup qualifiers by playing against Malaysia and is now scheduled to play Laos at home in the second match of the group. The women's team is set to play the final round of qualifiers this time.

Nepali women's football has been receiving a lot of attention recently due to its good performance. Therefore, football experts say that there is a possibility that the women's team will play in the Asia Cup soon.

Nepal is in Group F for the third group qualifier for the FFC Men's Asian Cup to be held in Saudi Arabia in 2027. Nepal will play the second match of the group on June 10 against Laos at the same ground.
