May 25, Kathmandu- Roshni Shahi, a former employee of the Parliament Secretariat who was associated with former Speaker Krishna Bahadur Mahara, was found dead in her residence in Balkot, Bhaktapur. The incident was confirmed by DSP Dhundiraj Neupane of the District Police Range, Bhaktapur.

Shahi's body was discovered in her room on Brihaspati Marg in Suryabinayak Municipality. Authorities have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death. Police officials are currently at the scene, collecting evidence and a nature certificate to determine the cause of death.

Details regarding the cause of her demise have not been disclosed, and further investigations are underway to clarify the situation.
