May 25, Kathmandu- A case has been filed against 65 people, including medical practitioner Durga Prasai, among those arrested on charges of engaging in undesirable activities during the royalist demonstration in Tinkune on Chaitra 15.
The Government Attorney's Office has submitted a charge sheet to the Kathmandu District Court, deciding to file a case against 65 of the 108 people under investigation. The charge sheet is in the process of being registered.
Of the 108 people, 90 were arrested while 18 were absconding. Cases have been filed against them for crimes against the state, criminal mischief, organized crime and dereliction of duty. Rastriya Prajatantra Party Vice President Rabindra Mishra and General Secretary Dhawal Shamsher Jabra have also been named as defendants.
