Trump Expresses Displeasure with Putin After Massive Strike on Ukraine: 'I'm Not Happy'

Trump Condemns Putin Over Ukraine Strike: 'He's Killing a Lot of People'

MORRISTOWN, N.J. — Former President Donald Trump expressed strong disapproval of Russian President Vladimir Putin following a large-scale Russian strike on Ukraine, stating he was "not happy" with the attack that resulted in significant casualties.

Speaking to reporters at Morristown Municipal Airport in New Jersey on Sunday, Trump criticized the Russian offensive, which was launched earlier that afternoon.

"I'm not happy with what Putin is doing," Trump said. "He's killing a lot of people, and I don't know what the hell happened to Putin."

Trump, who has previously described having a cordial relationship with the Russian leader, continued: "I've known him a long time, always gotten along with him, but he's sending rockets into cities and killing people, and I don't like it at all."

The remarks mark a rare public rebuke of Putin from Trump amid ongoing international condemnation of Russia’s actions in Ukraine.
