Nepal should be made a 'hub' of education: Deuba

May 26, Kathmandu- Nepali Congress Chair Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that Nepal should be made a 'hub' of education. He made the remarks while addressing a program organized by the party's education department in Kathmandu on Monday.

Deuba expressed concern over parents sending their children abroad to study, complaining about the lack of good education in Nepal. He stressed the need to create an environment that can provide higher education in Nepal. "Parents send their children abroad to study because there is no good education in Nepal," he said. "Therefore, if we can build schools and universities in Nepal that provide good education, our students will be deterred from going abroad."

Chairman Deuba pointed out that there is a possibility that foreign students will also come to study in Nepal due to Nepal's beautiful climate. "Our country is beautiful, everyone likes the climate. Foreign students can also come to Nepal. For that, Nepal can become a hub of education," he added, "If we can provide such kind of education in Nepal, if we can provide such education, foreign students can come to Nepal. Nepal can become a hub of education."

He stressed that education is important in the current times and it should be given priority. Deuba said that education is important for Nepal and stressed the need to create an environment that attracts foreign students to Nepal.
