HoR Meeting Adjourned For Half An Hour

May 27, Kathmandu- The meeting of the House of Representatives has been adjourned for half an hour.

Speaker Devraj Ghimire adjourned the parliament meeting for half an hour after opposition parties obstructed the meeting demanding the resignation of Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak over the visit visa issue.

As soon as today's meeting began, opposition parties obstructed the meeting and demanded the resignation of the Home Minister.

Speaking in today's meeting, Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP) MP Shishir Khanal said that the resignation of Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak would not be enough and that a high-level investigation commission should be formed to investigate.

Earlier, Maoist Center leader Barshaman Pun had said that the regular activities of the parliament would not be allowed to proceed until Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak resigned.
