May 27, Kathmandu- The House of Representatives meeting was adjourned after opposition parties did not back down from their demands for the Home Minister's resignation. The meeting was adjourned after opposition parties, including the main opposition party, the Maoist Center, protested soon after the meeting began.

The meeting, which began at 11 am, was first adjourned for half an hour after disruptions. It was later said to resume at 2:30 pm.
