May 29, Kathmandu- The government has stated that 37,984 poor citizens have received free health services including medicines as of Falgun of the current fiscal year.

Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel, while presenting the Economic Survey 2081/82 in the House of Representatives, said that free treatment services including medicines have been provided to heart, cancer and kidney patients.

The survey states, ‘As of Falgun of the current fiscal year, 37,984 poor citizens have received free health services including medicines for the treatment of heart, cancer and kidney diseases.’
