Jun 01, Kathmandu - The World Food Programme said people in Gaza had surrounded trucks carrying relief supplies and taken the food.
The World Food Programme (WFP) said it had sent 77 trucks full of flour to Gaza on Friday night and Saturday morning.
"All the trucks were stopped along the way and most of the food was taken by hungry people who wanted to feed their families," the WFP said.
WFP spokesman Abeer Etefa told the BBC that the trucks were not expected to reach the warehouses. So it has been decided to allow people who are congested on the road to carry relief materials.
Israel imposed a blockade on Gaza for 11 weeks. It was removed on May 19. Despite this, the United Nations says that the aid received so far only covers 10 percent of the people's needs.
The WFP says that after almost 80 days of complete blockade, hungry people will not let any food trucks pass.
