Jun 01, Kathmandu - The police have taken Kamal Thapa, the chairman of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party Nepal, under custody.
According to SP Apelraj Bohara of the District Police Range, Kathmandu, Thapa and some other people were arrested during the royalist protest.
The royalist movement, which began on 15 Jestha, continued progressively from Narayanchaur towards Baluwatar today. The protesters have been demanding the restoration of the monarchy and a Hindu state.
