Jun 05, Kathmandu - Russia is preparing to retaliate against Ukraine. US President Donald Trump has said that Russian President Vladimir Putin is ready to respond to the drone attack on Ukraine's air base.

Trump revealed that Russia is preparing to retaliate after a phone call with the Russian president, the BBC reported.

Russia has also said that military operations are being discussed. Trump has said that there was nothing concrete about a ceasefire in the phone conversation with Putin that lasted more than an hour.

Putin has accused Ukraine of fleeing the war and turning into a terrorist organization.

This is the first time that US President Trump and Russian President Putin have spoken since Ukraine attacked a Russian airbase on Tuesday.
