The case against Madhav Nepal is now a matter for the court: Gagan Thapa

Jun 06, Kathmandu - Nepali Congress General Secretary Gagan Kumar Thapa has said that he will not comment on the case filed by the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority against former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal as it is now a matter for the court.

Speaking to media persons at Biratnagar Airport today, he said that the case against former Prime Minister Nepal should be resolved with respect.

General Secretary Thapa said that the issue of active members should be resolved before the upcoming general convention of the Nepali Congress, and that every leader should renew and decide on the membership of their constituencies.

Stating that the leaders of the Congress should fulfill their responsibilities on time, he said that all efforts have been made for the success of the government.

General Secretary Thapa said that the government should win the hearts of the people by doing the expected work and that the current work should be reviewed.
