Jun 06, Kathmandu - The lawmakers have demanded a discussion on the matter in the Public Accounts Committee, saying that millions of youths have been robbed through visit visas.
In today's committee meeting, CPN (Maoist Center) lawmaker Amal Lal Modi demanded a discussion on the matter in the committee as many Nepalese have been cheated due to visit visas and questions have been raised about Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak. He said that Home Minister Lekhak should also resign, paving the way for an investigation. He urged Home Minister Lekhak to pave the way for an investigation and prepare for it.
"Questions are being raised about the Home Minister on visit visas. We are asking him to pave the way and prepare for an investigation. Millions of people are going on visit visas and who is becoming a victim today, that victim should be discussed in the Public Accounts Committee," he said.
He said that the committee should call the Home Minister and discuss the visit visa issue in depth as the Parliament is being disrupted. He said that considering the current situation, the Home Minister should pave the way.
